Why is someone checking all the slot machines?
They may be looking for something the last player left behind.
You have probably seen it: someone walks down a row of slots, checks a few screens, then keeps moving. They barely play. Sometimes they change the bet, look again, and leave.
They may be checking for stored progress. Certain games keep counters, wilds or unfinished features after a player cashes out. A new player can inherit that starting point.
What are they looking at?
On Regal Riches, it is the counters. On the original Scarab, it is the stored spots and the spin count. On other games, it might be an active wild column with a few spins left.
Some machines keep separate progress at different bets or denominations. That is why a player may check several buttons on the same machine.
Does that mean the next spin will win?
